We recently interviewed Black Light White Light, an Indie Rock band from Malmo, Sweden. Today, we are following said interview with a news feature, where we will pull back the hood and look at what makes his single ‘A Mutual Love’ tick.
Stream / Download: Black Light White Light – The Admirer
Beginning with a brash and thunderous kick-open-hat combination, the record carries a sense of anticipation, which is fitting since it is the first song on their latest album, The Admirer. What is it leading to? Where will it take us? Kaleidoscopic vocals give us a hint. Slightly set back, with a light delay echoing singer and songwriter Martin Ejlertsen’s stylistically vintage voice, the song is a hallucinogenic hit of colour. Listening to the album, we hear the continuation of the trip.
The Forward Backwards Recordings-signed band opens up: “I think the album presents the band’s most personal, versatile and certainly most adventurous release to date.”
