The lyricism in ‘Other Than Orange’ tells a story about regret and melancholia tainted with a hint of arrogance, ultimately offering an important observation about the romantic relationship, simultaneously transmitting a message to listeners. The lyrics illicit the realisation that where there is arrogance in relationships, the arrogant party is often dismal in the case the relationship ceases and the golden message is that the beloved is to be cherished without prejudice because singleness is often difficult to navigate.
Adam Harpaz and Pastel Jungle elaborate on the creative orientation in making the new single:“This first collab of many more to come is an alluring journey into the depths of longing for fonder memories. We wanted to capture that oddly captivating sensation of replaying those perfect memories, so often poisoned by the idea that you might never experience them the same way again”.
