Multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter, Isaiah Stone, released his latest single ‘Leavin!’. The new single highlights the essence of Isaiah’s signature style of “instant vintage”, a modern twist that captures the essence of classic rock & roll through his unfiltered and evocative songwriting. ‘Leavin!’ is a hard hitting indie rock track that teeters the line between coming of age and rebelling against expectations. His work stretches across genres of funk, pop and rock – this latest almost Kerouac–ian rock track is proof his creativity has no limits.
“At its core ‘Leavin!’ is a statement of personal freedom, and a depiction of the things that sometimes inspire the desire for freedom” Said Stone. “Regardless of what that may be, the desire for autonomy is omnipresent. In this case, the inspiration is my comfort zone.”
Stone truly has a unique and inspiring story turning his life experiences into emotionally deep and uplifting lyrics and beats. After growing up in a community where television, music and outside influence were blocked, music still found its way to Stone. Now Stone’s music draws inspiration from classic rock-n-roll legends, Sly and the Family Stone and Jimi Hendrix to songwriting heroes like Prince and DeVonte Swing of Jodeci.
