Aaron has been a practicing Buddhist for multiple years, and drew inspiration from the Tibetan Book of the Dead for this track in particular. The single features a funky beat and groove-laden melody, with Aaron meticulously rapping about death not being the end and that we should focus less on materialistic goals. The accompanying music video is bright, spirited and whimsical. It sees Aaron rapping in front of a camera with vivid, animated visuals in the background, as he plays guitar with a painted skull on his face.
Aaron shares; “I have spent a lot of time in Mexico and I love how Mexicans celebrate their ‘Day of the Dead’ – very joyful, with live bands, food and drinks on the graveyards. It is similar to the positive attitude towards death that I express in my song, so I decided to get a typical ‘Dia de los Muertos’ facepaint for the music video“.
