Put on your dancing shoes as At Pavillon’s releases bouncy new indie-rock single ‘Lions’

Austrian four-piece indie-rock group, At Pavillon released a single, ‘Lions’, from their upcoming EP with the same name, Lions. It will be released on the 7th of September via LasVegas Records who brought us indie-pop heroes Leyya, under the banner of Redelsteiner management, who work with Austrian singer-songwriter sensation Voodoo Jürgens

Their sound can easily be compared to indie-rock legends like The Kooks or Cage The Elephant, while channeling the energetic elements from a group like Two Door Cinema Club. Although drawing from classic indie-rock sounds, At Pavillon has a unique sound created by a combination of Mwita Mataro’s signature vocals, inspiration from the pop and funk genres and the entire band’s tight energy that they bring to all their tracks.

Lions’ is a fun track from start to finish. As soon as it begins, it never fails to let down as the listener is forced to abandon all hope that their dancing shoes will come out safe on the other side. At Pavillon immediately caught my attention. From their striking visual aesthetic, to the pure art that is the song and EP’s cover. They bring a sound to oversaturated music industry needs in a world filled with fake news and cheap marketing tactics; honesty.
