Swedish rock-pop band Johnossi have released a provocative and stylish video for new single “Hands”, which presents a surreal take on police brutality from the perspective of both aggressor and victim.
Full of unforgettable images – exploding guitars, floating drum kits, balaclava-wearing synchronised swimmers – the song is an interestingly ambiguous, at times sardonic, take on the themes of violence, oppression and rebellion.
Johnossi’s new album, Blood Jungle – which has received enthusiastic support from the likes of Kerrang and The Huffington Post – is out in the UK on Polydor.
