Director Bastian Scholl elaborates on working with Cadet Carter: “I am so happy Cadet Carter has asked me to work with them on their new video. The song is probably the most optimistic thing that came out this year and I wanted to give the video a melancholic but still positive spin. ‘The Best Part’ video is a nod at humanity, that now more than ever we should be united. The song and video is a reminder to hold onto the positive and not dwell in the misery of the past or current year that we have all experienced globally. This song is a beacon of light for redemption, forgiveness, and healing.
