This past Friday, saw the release of ‘Let Go Of Fear’, the latest chapter in Seth Tabatznik’s quick rise through the Indie Folk world. Since debuting in 2024, he’s gained traction with ‘Shining For Love’ and ‘Choose To Be Alive’, both highlighted by CLASH Magazine and EARMILK, helping drive his streaming numbers beyond 100,000. His shows have followed a similar path, with sold-out performances at Boschendal Estate in Cape Town and Green Note in Camden. Raised in London and now settled in South Africa’s Western Cape mountains, Seth builds his sound around acoustic Folk and medicine music, using earthy textures and clear, intentional songwriting. Work with Nick Mulvey and inspiration from teacher Rainer Scheurenbrand continue to shape the direction of his upcoming 2026 album.
‘Let Go Of Fear’ shifts toward a colder, more spacious palette. Strings open the track with a slow, steady rise, while piano lines settle underneath his voice, giving the arrangement a calming atmosphere. His delivery stays centered, letting the melody guide the song rather than leaning into large peaks. The result feels like a natural extension of his live presence, direct, warm, and focused on connection.
Seth Tabatznik revealed: “‘Let Go of Fear’ is a cover of a Nick Barber song: Heart’s Mystery. Its a song I fell in love with and adopted over the last few years; as passed onto me by my guitar teacher Rainer Scheurenbrand. I’ve sang this song round the world, in ceremonies, in singing circles and at festivals as an audience singalong and am grateful to be sharing this personalised recorded studio version.”
