Today,  Worcestershire’s very own Chloe Mogg has delivered a new rocking single titled ‘Heaven Sent You’. With a feminine fire like that of ‘Ironic’ songwriter Alanis Morissette, Chloe gives strength to her confessional lyrics with an impassioned voice, bolstered by the weighty down-strums of a buzz-heavy electric guitar. If this is what we can expect from her forthcoming debut album, The Crazy One, we are in for a treat.

It’s worth noting that the LP will feature session guitarist Ali Clinton – think Conflict Choir, Bernie Marsden from Whitesnake, and Uli Jon Roth – among others.

Inspired by a night that brought Chloe out of the breakup blues, the single is a dedication to the loved ones who were there for her during challenging times. She tells us the story behind the song: “I performed at a festival with my band to hundreds, possibly a thousand people or so in Bewdley, and the crowd and I instantly ‘clicked’. They were singing along to my songs, dancing and even forming moshpits (!!!) (which they referred to as Mogg Pits), it was incredible. This song is an ode to that night and how it reminded me that doing music is one of my callings in life.”
